Color Coded Shoe Collection

We've seen abundant book collections arranged by color. And closets arranged by color. Which brings us to this shoe collection...

These shoes were actually part of a vintage shoe sale: their striking color-coded organization on a field of wire mesh looks striking. And, while books arranged by color may look cool, arranging shoes and other apparel by color is quite practical, too.

Call me a dork, but I've been arranging my clothes in the closet in rainbow order for 25 years. I love how easy it makes choosing an outfit.

Phew! I was thinking this was someone's closit. yeah, as a store display it's great. But I don't have anywhere near the color range for this to look good with my wardrobe. Or even my bookshelf.

i went to art school before switching careers, and my books, clothing and shoes are all arranged ROYGBIV. makes it so much easier to get dressed in the morning

I sort my shoes by color, too. I really like doing it that way, and my storage solution, though I don't know how it would scale up.
