Mix n' Match Bathroom Sets

Although we like the look of coordinated bathroom sets, we've never bought one. We usually mix and match a few things for small storage in the bathroom: trays, baskets, bowls, whatever works. We're wondering:

Do you have a coordinated bath set, or do you mix n' match?

Our favorite grab-bag bathroom accessories are ceramic water glasses, trays, glass jars, ceramic bowls, small wicker baskets, and tea towels. If you are a mixer, what do you use?

mix. Not a fan of matching accessories. I'm moving in to a new house, and trying to choose paint colors and rugs that aren't too match-y.

The only match-y things we have are 2 glass jars for q-tips & cotton balls. Other than that we have a sterling silver cup for toothbrushes (from my favorite place, the Brown Elephant) and a pretty soapdish I took from my mom's house. Not a fan of match-y match-y, not sure why. It seems a little too pre-planned or something, like you bought the set from a store. Which, I suppose you did.

Totally mixy and I love switching them around. Most are either silver, or blue and white, or wood. I use small pitchers and bowls and trays.

yay for mixing! sometimes i find a piece i love, but it looks too matchy with the whole set (or i can't afford the whole set)
