The right hangers can make a big difference in your closet, although they're not the most fun thing to shop for. In case you don't feel like scouring the web for the perfect hanger, we've compiled a roundup with several different options from cheap to not-so-cheap, practical to pretty, standard to a little obscure...

I bought some wooden hangers at Costco, normally 23.99/50 but they have coupons or sales that take them down to 19.99/50, great deal!

I happen to love the non-slip hangers available at Bed Bath and Beyond. They come 50 to a box for $39.99 and if you happen to have a coupon for them or a competitor that's even better. They have a very slim profile so for those of us with limited closet space they allow for more hanging space.

What? No flocked hangers. Joy Mangano is probably climbing back into her grave so she can roll over for a while.

still looking for "ladies" hangers that are less than 17" wide - hate having shoulders of tops stretched out and even those flocked hangers of Joy Mangano are too wide!

does anyone know if someone else makes padded canvas hangers like they used to at Hold Everything? they were the best...

Plus, love the pink wood and pink flocked hangers that Living Etc. sells, but they come in sets that don't work for me (and are expensive to boot) -- anybody seen any like these? (the chocolate ones are fun too)

If you have limited closet space and you want to increase your space then I would recommend the HankyTankyHanger. Hang 12 tops or bottoms on one hanger. Make space and get organized. The hankytankyhanger allows you to triple your small closet!

Thanks
