Roundup: Piggy Banks

8-10-07piggybanks.jpg

Cha-ching! We've got a dish for collecting loose change on our "landing strip," the place where we take off our shoes, hang up our jacket and sort our mail. The dish works fine, but we've seen so many stylish, modern piggy banks lately that we're thinking of upgrading.

Clockwise from top left:

Egg Bank from Plastica, $85
Pamela Barsky Piggy Bank from Flybird, $27
Volcoino Piggy Bank from Umbra, $22
Piggy Bank from the Container Store, on sale for $3.99
Coink! Piggy Bank from Haus Modern Living, $42

I actually have a fish instead of a pig. A Blenko glass fish, similar to this little guy [except mine is green].

Oh, it should be noted, though, that I found mine on a garage sale for like a dollar. I did not pay $125 for something to throw change in.
