I was so happy until I saw the price--not astronomical, but still too spendy for my pockets, especially for what I need it for: This reminds me of Julia Child's kitchen, though--pegboard everywhere for all her wonderful cooking gadgets! I'm going to keep looking for something similar for my kitchen.

I ran across this on Lowes website last night
http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=211606-46498-833&lpage=none
i haven't seen it in person yet, but it's $16.98 for a 4 x 8' sheet! (the stupid zipcode thing might not give you the price)

I might use it for a light fixture thing i've been noddling with, but i think it'd look great cut to fit into a thick goodwill frame as a landing strip

ikea has some metal pegboard too.. pretty cheap $7 for a 15"x31" piece.. they have lots of accessories to go with it. you could also use it for a shelf and hang things vertically off of it which is super cool.

The metal pegboard from wallcontrol.com is amazing and affordable and comes in lots of colors. Check it out!

The orange was featured in Real Simple and it looked great in a modern office space. I especially like the fact that you can get it with standard peg board holes, vertical slots, or both. Plus, it works with regular pegboard accessories or the large selection of hooks and other things that the site sells.
