What Goes With Your Kitchen Sink?

The area around our kitchen sink is a pretty uncluttered place, and that's why we love it. We have a little wire wall basket that holds only a sponge, dish soap, and hand lotion. (The drying rack is on the counter next to the sink.) We've been seeing over-the-sink shelves a lot lately, and although there's some appeal to these systems, we have to say that we don't really want a bunch of extra stuff over our sink.

The sink is such a utilitarian space, we're not about to crowd it with any extras. We're wondering what goes with your kitchen sink and how do you store it? Anyone out there who luuuvs over-the-sink shelves? Let us know in the comments below.

I think it looks more clattered with that bench on. I use beautiful ceramic flower pot, on the side of the sink. Everything goes inside and looks organised and clean.
