Before
Apartment Therapy: Chicago readers may be familiar with the interior of Nicole's home. We were happy to feature a tour of her Oak Park home and have found plenty of inspiration from her own blog posts and projects over the years. She can now also add contest-winning "front porch designer" to the list of her accomplishments...

After

...since she was just named the winner of Better Homes & Gardens 48 Hour Challenge. In the competition, they asked 5 home and garden bloggers to do a $500 project that could be re-created by readers at home in 48 hours. Nicole's garnered the most votes (23,172!), earning her the big prize.

Nicole painted the "rug" freehand, the table and chairs were spray-painted pink and the hanging divider was a diy project made from hardboard and s-hooks.

Check out Nicole's post about her win right here and all five of the Better Homes & Gardens contest entries right here.

Congrats, Nicole!

Wow! That is so beautiful. I'd love to enjoy a cup of tea and a good book on that porch.
