Here's yet another view of the farmer's daughter's newly orange living room. It includes this alternate use of a dresser - a topic Sarah just posted about yesterday (8 Spots to Put a Dresser). Out of the bedroom and into the dining room for buffet use, the farmer's daughter writes:
This is an old dresser that was originally yellow, then white, now this shade of green. I put on new pulls from Ikea and use it in the dining room as a buffet. It has a lot of needed storage. I don't know why this nook-y thing is in my living room. It doesn't appear to have any reason. I would have liked them to added this space to the teeny tiny kitchen area instead - or made it a closet. Either one would have been better than this.
Despite the awkward spot she seems to struggle with, we really love the gray/orange combo!
Great painting/print/fabric!

It is Ikea.
Someone was thinking about using that fabric on a chair... (http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/la/good-questions/good-question-can-this-chair-work-with-this-fabric-041382)

I never would have thought to put grey and orange together, and I must admit that I absolutely love it.
