The orange accent wall has become a design metaphor, an almost cliched expression of boldness in decorating. Despite its pervasiveness, we still really love a good orange wall, especially one that brings warmth and depth to a room. We've seen some great examples on Apartment Therapy, and we love to return to them for inspiration...










I just painted my kitchen Behr's "Poppy Glow" which is a really bright orange! Well, only the top half of my kitchen...the bottom half is wainscoting painted white.
I love it! Orange is such a brilliant colour for a kitchen!

my living room and dining room (open to each other) are painted orange, 2 different shades - behr's "opulent" in the lr and "squash" in the dr. i love it. in the winter it's warming and cocoon like and in the summer it's bright an airy.
