Whiner and Diner Pet Accessories

20080923whine1.jpgHere on AT, we're fond of seeing how people reuse wine crates. Whiner and Diner, a small company in Connecticut, has a whole business of turning wine crates into helpful accessories for doggie (or cat)...

The price range runs from $150 (for the smallest single bowl crate) to $225 (for the extra large, double bowl). Besides the feeders, they also deconstruct the crates to make pet beds and toy boxes.

If you're feeling handy, this could make a fairly straightforward DIY project. If you'd prefer to not get your hands dirty, visit the Whiner and Diner website to see the multitude of wine logos available, as well as the unique wood stains and hand-lettered pet name calligraphy.

Thanks for the tip, Bree!

A little pricey for a pet bowl, but beautiful. They look like have a good finish on them so it would be easy to clean up spills.

Its hard to find vineyards that actually ship in wood boxes. One i know still does is ca'montini pinot grigio. Will call my liquor store (or perhaps pop in :)) to see if they will give me their boxes.

for weeks now i have been trying to get wooden crates, either wine crates or produce crates. i even get to use the guise of "our local girl scout troop is making things for local pet rescues and shelters..." and still nothing! i, too, am going to stop in the liquor store and try to finagle some. though i did look on ebay, and saw some decently priced wine crates. there's a few sellers on there that have a bunch, too, so there's a good chance you can win the auction.

Whiner and Diner is nothing like DIY ...
We purchased two feeders from them (dog and cat), and a toy box. The craftmanship is amazing, and we had the ivy design added to one of the pet feeder...Just gorgeous! We had a few questions, and they were right there...Nothing but better than most!
Muttropolis is Whiner and Diner's retailer...
