HousewArEz from Fractalspin

In the latest issue of Time Out Chicago (issue no. 157), edgy coasters are all the rage. We'll back up Jessica's cute felt finds from Rose and Radish earlier today with a totally different spin on the coaster: circuitboard coasters from Fractalspin. Info on these and other "HousewArEz" below:

Is it just me, or do the circuitboard luggage tags scream "search this bag for bombs!"?

are these actually made from old circuit boards? if so, aren't there a lot of toxic chemicals in a lot of circuit boards, which i thought was part of the reason why a lot of computer/chip manufacturing went to countries with not very strict regulation on chemical disposal and use.
