Over the weekend, we stopped by Penelope's in Wicker Park, where we were totally charmed by Shinzi Katoh's line of housewares. The Japanese artist is well-known for illustrating children's books and personalizing bento boxes with his distinctive drawings. (His designs for children have been blogged on ohdeedoh before.) I bought one of his trays through this online store and they had a selection of his other pieces as well. FYI: The trays are much creamier in color than what they appear in the pictures. www.threepotatofourshop.com
