From cable knit sweaters to pillow covers - fashion designers Lutz & Patmos created a line of cozy-worthy home designs for West Elm. The line includes these cable covers, made from acrylic and wool and simply say, "homey." These and more (non Lutz) textured pieces below:

these look cool, but are begging to be DIY'd out of those old ill-fitting cable sweaters.

just a bit too DIY for my tastes

Cute. I remember those cable pillows were all the rage a couple of years back for recycling sweaters. I still have one buried somewhere that I made from a felted sweater.

Those sweater pillows are just begging to be ripped apart by a cat. That was my first thought when I saw them in the West Elm catalog.

Just saw these in the store...I'm thinking about making my own cable knit pillows. They'd do ok until I get a cat. Or maybe my cat will have an aversion to cable knit. Love them now anyways.

i think the buttons on the kable knot ones would really bother me.

kable knit, of course ... sorry.

The knit pillows would be ridiculously easy to make yourself. Assuming you're a knitter, of course. Unfortunately I'm not crazy about the way they look.
