Love the epoch arrangement especially. I also like that it's on a high, narrow shelf that would be out of reach of plant-munching cats.
The christmasy bouquet would be a great alternative to a tree as I lack the space. One day I plan to grow my own holly and ivy for live holiday arrangements... with a few pine sprigs tucked in, you almost wouldn't miss the tree.
