Air plants are neat. They don't need planting or weeding because they don't even need soil. The Magical Plant Garden, which includes four wild-looking botanicals, plays up the no-dirt advantage by setting the plants up in a no-mess bowl of stones.
These funky 'flowers' might be dirt-free but they still need water. Can you guess which room would make them happiest...?
According to the Home Institute, epiphytic air plants will thrive in the bathroom. The humidity makes them feel like they're right back at home, growing on a moss-covered tree in the rain forest. So the Magical Plant Garden, which sells for $79, is a compact and no-fuss way to make your own home spa more tropical.

i love tillandsia plants.. i took a piece of driftwood and glued some of those on it and it looks beeauutiful. just need to spray them with water once a week. you can make your own arrangments by buying them (online even) and gluing, sewing or otherwising attaching/arranging them in any sort of container.

These are cute. I find the bathroom is a nice place for a little tropical plant...

Yikes! It *is* lovely, but considering I see those plants for less than $5 each at the nursery, I think it would be more economical and fun to design your own arrangement. I like janegrace's idea, because it sounds like something you could hang on the wall without taking up space on flat surfaces in the bathroom.

MCNicole-
I would start with Gethsemane Garden Center at 5739 N Clark St. If they don't have air plants, I bet they know where to find them.

Sprout Home had some over the summer.
