We hate to think of any planter taking center stage over a plant itself, but these Retro Bullet Planters are just as rich in shape and color as the plants they are waiting to house. At heights of either 29.5” or 22.75” (the planters are 15.75”d), we could see one of these really adding some flavor to the simplest spaces. Colors run the taste spectrum including Tangerine, Butter Yellow and Apple Green, to name a few.
The compression-molded fiberglass planter and gauge steel tripod stand are best for indoor use, but can also handle the outdoor elements, provided there’s some coverage. Running $190 for the standard size, the larger style goes for ten bucks more.
Available at Fly Bird in Oak Park, this beauty is worth the trek west on the Green Line. But if you haven’t got time for trekking, you can also order online.
