Lunablocks Human-Sized Legos

2008-07-02-lego1.jpgYesterday's architectural Lego masterpiece got us wondering if there was indeed any Lego-made furniture. A search quickly revealed one better: The recently released Lunablocks. These Lego-inspired, lockable, adult-sized blocks are made to make into something else.

The stackable nightstand might be a lot easier (and more expensive) to put together than we thought.

Lunatic Construction has a fairly limited online exploration of the many media they have created. Most are closeups of the materials or glass-topped variants of the classic college cinder-block coffee table. We can envision loveseats, chairs, daybeds and more - all ideal for a kid's room or creative office space.

Lunablocks are available in various forms beyond the original plastic, all ready to be reconfigured:

That actually looks pretty cool, but nothing I would use at home.

I think the Lunametal line is awesome, but I can't find pricing information about it. Any ideas where to look?

I assume you saw the plastic ones here: http://www.homology.com/boutique/liste_produits.cfm?code_lg=lg_fr&type=79&num=8

For the steel ones, the Lunatic site says 'bientot disponible' - so I guess one will have to wait a little.

Thanks particlebored. Yeah, I had seen the plastic ones, but the steel ones are so much cooler.
