There was enough love out there for Hazel that the Ravenswood-based shop expanded to a second location in Little Italy (921 S. Loomis). Hazel has always been the place where:
1) We ask our Ravenswood-living friends, "Where did you get that?" and they reply "Hazel", and
2) We stop in to find a gift for someone and leave with one for ourself, too. 
Especially great for custom invitations and stationery (not to mention journals, coasters, bags, and baby gifts), here are a few online favorites (but the real pleasure is to be had browsing in person):
I love Hazel & was so happy that when I moved south from Ravenswood they followed! I've only been to the Loomis store once & it was soon after they opened... at that time they had an overall smaller selection... fair amount of stationery, less of the accessories.
I haven't been to the new one yet, but I learned about the Ravenswood one about a year ago and have been going non-stop. So many things that I want so badly. I particularly like the jewelry. They have little resin pendant necklaces/bracelets that are fantastic.
Dang! I thought that left-handed journal was so neat, but the link was broken and I couldn't find it in the store. Does anyone know of a source for it online? It's too awesome!
