On a recent weekend visit to Ravenswood Antique Mart we snapped a bunch of photos of what is available currently....jump below for the finds:
Stripe-y Mid-c lamp in great colors.
Matching orange glass lamps and super FUNKY man/woman symbols in gold.
Pair of retro white slipper chairs.
Simple-lined sectional.
Honeycomb wine rack.
A collection of ceramic hanging bird feeders (or votive holders!).
A triple silver pendant.
Pair of vintage red counter stools.
Ravenswood Antique Mart is located at 4727 N. Damen Ave. in Chicago.
this is driving me crazy because now i can't find it, but wasn't that honeycomb rack mentioned somewhere in the design blog world recently in someone's quest to discover info about it from a japanese website (and needing help with the translations)?

Hey Janel--
Any chance that "Boy for Park Commissioner" is still available??? It's AWESOME.

Same goes for the orange glass hand between the two orange matching lamps.

What is the round metal thing on the wall in the first photo? I'm developing a scary case of total besottedness with it, almost as if it were a sweet, sweet bunny.
(If one of the managers of the antique mart were to keep an eye on posts here, they could unload a surprising amount of small items, I suspect...)

This is a long shot, but does anyone remember a wonderful small antique / vintage store that used to be about a block and half north of Ravenswood Antique mall? It seems to have vanished without a trace. Perhaps they moved locations...

P2 and Wende-
I just called the shop and Jan was kind enough to check on the availability/pricing on the items you mentioned...here is the scoop:
BOY sign is $65.
Orange "Hand of Buddha" sculpture is $475.
Jere "Ginko Tree" wall sculpture is $365.
They are available for shipping. This vicarious shopping is fun!

pinkuschi: i don't know if you've already found it, but it was probably patina, which has moved over to clark in the andersonville area. patinachicago.com is their website.
