Reader's Bathroom: Kiel's Black & White Water Closet

031108kiel3.jpgTaking cue from our black and white bathroom (the one where the too-short patterned curtains drove you all crazy, but you loved the silhouettes on the wall), Kiel sent in some pics of his b&w water closet:

Like us, Kiel combines some strong patterns and throws in some solid black (the toilet seat). We're oh so curious what the other side, opposite the sink, looks like.

Thanks for sending, Kiel! Anyone else??

A long time ago I had a black and white bathroom with a Fornasetti shower curtain (of all things! I can't find one now), and a dark red bath mat. But I never took a picture.

Hey...I think I just met this Kiel this past weekend (at Brown Elephant)? Small world...

Nice bathroom - I like the black tile borders around the mirror.

Ahhh Thanks!

Yes, Jessica - You met me when we were volunteering at Brown Elephant - So nice to meet you!

P.S - The Houndstooth was a bedspread that I cut up to make a window shade...haha.

Where'd you get the shower curtain?

the shower curtain is actually Target drapes that I removed the lining from and sewed in a plastic liner on the backside to make it practical!
