"Gut rehab a month before our wedding...can you say nervous energy?" was what Chris of
Queen Anne Cottage said to us in his email...
Well, were happy to see that nervous energy being put to good use. The bathroom looks great, and we especially like the light fixture which Chris flipped upside down from its intended installation!
Renovation design details:
Sink, Faucet and Toilet: Max Gerber
Light fixture: Restoration Hardware
Trash Bin: Smith and Hawken Outlet
Mirror: IKEA
Towel Bar: Great Indoors
Thanks to Chris for sending the photos (and congrats on the wedding)!
wow, i love the sink & faucet. but i was wondering, do you find that the sink is too small or does it function well in the space?
Tahnk you!
I really love the sink and facuet. It was a really tight fit. The door swings across the front of the sink, it had to be shallow. Also the sink is a little shallow in depth, if you turn the water on full blast it will overflow.
I like this! The contrast between the light tile and dark walls is pretty manly and slick, like a debonair European football player. I think we might have nearly the same tile in our bathrooms! Mine is on the floor though (click on my name to see). Did you get it at Tile Outlet? Sweet. I'm wondering if you sealed your tile. I have found that I prefer how my floor looks when it's wet (the vein in the marble deepens in color) and so I've been tossing around the idea of sealing it permanently.
Please share where those tiles came from. They're gorgeous!
Yep Tile Outlet...
Love the sink and faucet. I also love the contrast in colors between the tile and the paint color...great job!
