Yes, the global real estate market isn't faring so well, but that doesn't mean we can't ogle at what's on the market. (Sometimes you just want a little eye candy, right?) This curved house, listed by the Modern House Estate Agents in London, has an upper story of chestnut wood constructed by a Norfolk shipbuilder. Click below for more...

This beautiful home will set you back almost 2-million Euros. For that much money, you get the basics (kitchen, living room, etc) plus 4 bedrooms, a courtyard garden, a backyard annex, a Bisazza-tiled master bath, and your own library/cinema room. Although out of our price range, we love the form and layout of this space. For a more accessible curved house in suburban Illinois, check out AT's tour of Jennifer and Jeff's Half-Circle Home.

Stunning. The library is simultaneously my dream meditative retreat and the greatest library/cinema room for doing dirty deeds.

Hmm...

Stunning all the same.

This construction of this house was followed on an episode of the British architecture/design programme Grand Designs. More info on the house here.

Sexy House...

...and that's one big and luxurious sling!

Kind of a let down imo. Maybe it's the angles, but it seems like a lot of wasted space. The room with all the books looks like a sex dungeon and that fireplace is an eyesore. And any home that's selling for millions, shouldn't have bean bags all over the place, I don't care if they're made of diamonds. The exterior is beautiful though.

You must check out that Grand Designs episode, I watched it when it was on here, amazing the lengths they went through just to get that curved glass!
Not really my taste in decor but stunning place.

I love-loVe this house. From the time I was a little girl, I've had this vision of a circle house, courtyard in the center. I've even drawn it out in my rustic way many times. I hope I get to build my house one day.

Nearly 3 million dollars seems quite a bargain for a house of this size in London.
