Tis the season. We use our fireplace all the time. We like those goofy duraflame or javalogs, they are the perfect size. Light one before dinner and it burns for 3-4 hours - just right.
BUT - if we were going to use real firewood, we'd most likely have it delivered by Chicago Firewood.
Their website doesn't have a ton of info (check out the flames!), but it gives the following summary of what they have to offer:
"Chicago Firewood provides premium custom split 3" - 4" diameter seasoned mixed hardwoods for drive-thru pickup or delivery and stacking by our courteous, dedicated team. Choose from Oak, Hickory, Maple, Cherry,White Birch, and Apple plus Kindling, Georgia Fatwood and more."
