...that we remember fondly. If we were to add a wall clock to our kitchen, we'd go with something with sort of 70's retro vibe, like these five modern, minimal styles:
Shown above, left to right:
1. Monolithic Clock by Jonas Damon for $89 at Watchismo
2. Bankers Clock by Arne Jacobsen for $400 at Fitsu
3. Times Square Zen Clock by Jonathan Wajskol for $98 at Unica
4. Camp Clock by Claesson, Koivisto & Rune for $295 at Unica
5. Junghans Wall Clock by Max Bill for $375 at Nova 68
amazing!!

There's also the Crate and Barrel "Embossed Numbers" clock. It's simple, easy to read, and well... not $295. Yikes!

My goodness, you're right. The only clocks I have are my stove digital clock, the microwave clock, the alarm clock by my bed and the clock on my dvr player. But no stand alone clock. Maybe it's a sign of the times.

And the only room in my house without a clock is Husband's bathroom. Our bedroom has two clock radios on the headboard---one my my side and one on his. From where I sit writing this, I can see four clocks---two genuine tick-itty-tick clocks and two digital (which includes the one in the lower right of my computer).
The clocks shown are pretty, but I wouldn't buy one because I like easy-to-read numbers and strong tick marks---anything less is time-keeping malpractice in my opinion :)

Anyone interested in modern clocks would also be pleased to check out those produced by Karlsson. Some of their clocks are sold by Conran.
Umbra also has a very nice selection that is also affordable.
Ciao
