We've all got (at least) one project or job around the house that has been on the back burner too long...this February is the time to tackle it! Monday is the kickoff of our DIY month and contest where we'll be blogging good tools, tips and techniques and showing off reader projects across our entire family of sites. Awesome! I love DIY. Right now I'm working on repairing and painting an old china cabinet, making curtains for the living room and kitchen, and reupholstering a chair seat. Yeah, I'm all about multiple projects at once.

You go BambiJo!! Sounds like you have pretty much the same types of projects going as I do. I really, I mean REALLY, need to get busy and get things done. I want to get busy with the painting but need to wait until the weather warms up so the windows can be opened.
I've been thinking all white walls and lots of pops of color, I think I'm afraid of color on the walls. Hmmm.. we'll see.
