Trend Watch: Rough Textures + Luxe Items = Natural Glam

Lately, we've noticed that the movement toward luxurious items that have a strong connection to nature has been growing - the high-end spotlight has shifted from super shiny, glitzy items to those that have rough, rustic textures on a grand scale...

...we found five great examples of this trend at Pieces:

beautiful...as long as one lives in a hermetically sealed dust proof chamber. i like the pretty, but it's got to be practical, sorry.

Looove the rustic wood textures. Wicker, on the other hand, has a whole cheese-factor/Pier 1 vibe for me.

I really love this look. These pieces are expensive, but I bet it wouldn't be all that difficult to re-create that coffee table with some wood, paint and a glass table top.
