I really wish Urban Outfitters furniture was more comfortable, because I love that sofa too. The price just makes me want it more!

I got two really nice red sofa beds with storage from a european furniture store in mountain view, california. Here's a link to my living room - http://picasaweb.google.com/firegardeneve/MyApatment/photo#5206635809641390706

More pics in the album.

Alas, the UO sofa is so incredibly rickety...would be good if no one but the cat sat on it.

UO furniture is generally crap - you're better off getting something used or from IKEA.

A Klippan w/ a Red cotton slipcover is only $279, and in red leather it's $499.

Meanwhile - I just ordered a red loveseat for the den last week from Macys on sale (the red fabric isn't shown online) http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=310814&PseudoCat=se-xx-xx-xx.esn_results&zip=94109

The Urban Outfitters one looks good, but I learned the hard way that I should never, ever get an armless sofa. I like to recline on a sofa, and without arms, there's nothing to rest your head on!

I shudder to think about what goes on in the product development meetings in the UO Home division.

Ooooh - Spacify? Never been to their site before. That sofa looks great. If I were in the market for an expensive sofa, I'd take theirs over DWRs, which looks borderline Ikea to me for some reason. Maybe it's the skinny legs.

I agree with previous posters re: the UO sofa. I own this sofa (scored a floor model for $250), and it is very uncomfortable. Also, almost every single one of the tufted buttons has fallen after only six months. It's fine, considering what we paid, but I will never again buy an armless sofa (or any furniture from UO).
