Avalisa Wool Rugs: Not Just For Babies

20080211avalisa6.jpgAvalisa creates designs for children and, even though ohdeedoh has blogged about these rugs before, we think they appeal to grown-up rooms too.

The Wonder Rugs (small dots on left) and the Bubble Rugs (larger dots on right) could easily fit into a sleek, modern living room or jazz up a starved-for-color bedroom. The rugs are made of thick, hand-tufted New Zealand wool, which is great for protecting tumbling toddlers but also good for adult "little piggies."

20080211avalisa3.jpgBesides being soft, the extra-plush wool is known to provide excellent sound proofing and warmth. The Avalisa Wonder & Bubble rugs (as well as other fun styles) are available at 2Modern in three different sizes, four colors, and range in price from $310 to $1360.

All you have to do is remove that "big boy bed" from the picture and you have one stylish guest room.

@ ChrisToronto... No one said "wool rugs are just for babies". Avalisa products are clearly geared towards babies/children... which is why AT's headline is what it is. They're stating that this designers products are sophisticated enough to be geared towards a more mature audience as well.

JEEZ!!

I can tell that spending that kind of dough on a rug for an infant's room is foolish. And I'm a fool reporting this first hand.
