Best of Three: Doormats at Anthropologie

2007-05-26-doormat.jpg

Best of Three. Let's comparison shop...this week, were looking at doormats at Anthropologie...which do you think is the best bet for design longevity and good value for the money out of the three shown above?

From Left:
Square Root Doormat is $38, is made coir and is shown in green. It is 18x30.
Macrame Doormat is $42., is made of jute. It is 27.5x39.
Tree Study Doormat is $28. and is made of coir and is shown in cream. It is 18x30.

I like the macrame doormat, but instead of using it on the floor I'd hang it on the wall to add some instant "hippie chic."

Sarah, I had that exact same idea! It's really a pretty piece! Why put it on the floor?

Tree Study works better in cream than in green. The green loses the mid-century appeal.

the jute one.

i think the other two are too busy. doormats are generally something you'd want to be fairly neutral. right? im all for color, but i like the classic look of a simple doormat.
