Chelsea Rugs from the Rug Company

We see lots of rugs float through the blogosphere, but we keep coming back to the Rug Company's Chelsea Rugs. The design reminds us of an Ellsworth Kelly painting...

A lot of the rugs at the Rug Company look like minimalist paintings, but for us this one in particular has the right mix of Op Art geometry and muted softness. Made from Tibetan wool, this is a quality rug. Although prices aren't listed online, the Rug Company comes in at the "deluxe" end of the spectrum - not crazily overpriced for what you get, but still outside of the "affordable" range. We're all craving novelty, I think. Perhaps the new trend is no defined trends? I know, no chance. I like the somewhat unusual color combinations in the rugs. Somebody should open a rug company that provides high quality, unusual, cool rugs for lower price points.
