5 Things That Are Always on Sale in August

sale081109.jpgAugust - sunshine, swimming and....shopping? Well, yeah, the last one isn't what we associate with the somewhat slower pace of high summer either, but there are deals to be had on items for use at home. So, if you can brave the shops, here is what retailers always have on discount in August:

  • Furniture
  • Linens & Towels (White Sales)
  • Patio Equipment and Furniture
  • BBQs
  • Office Supplies (Back to School Sales)

@ubertimmo -- actually I find these posts very helpful; most of us know boots go on sale in the spring, and sandals will be going on sale soon, but home items are different.

Ah, the corn exchange - it doesn't look like this anymore - all the lovely little independent shops have been moved out so they can refurbish it into some kind of posh upmarket food hall:

It used to be one of my favourite destinations in Leeds
