Oh how I hate that you make us jump through a link to get such paltry info like this.

I agree Indy. I'm curious though -- what data are you all using to say that cookware or furniture is on sale in September? Don't companies have sales on those sorts of things all year long?

we just bought our patio chairs on 50% off sale. it's too hot to hang out outside during most of the summer here, anyways...this is a far more pleasant time of year.

Seems like everything is on sale - esp for the Labor Day and Back-to-School sales.

If it isn't on sale, just wait a week or two...

We bought our patio set at the end of summer last year - but I think Sept. is actually a bit late. Frontgate's good stuff was already on clearance by then and selling out.

We also just bought a patio table and a dining table at a C&B floor sample sale last month. Solid walnut with japanese joinery seating 8-10 for $400? SOLD.

I think Sept. is a bit late - most of the retailers are clearing out well before then.

All the outdoor entertaining and grilling stuff was decimated when we needed some things this past weekend too.

Why is it people only seem to comment to complain lately?

I have to agree about having to click through to read a list with five items on it (with no pictures, even). It's especially lame that I no longer get complete Apartment Therapy posts on my Google reader. I used to click through a lot so I could see pictures in more detail and read comments; now that I can't read most of the post in the reader, I scroll past a lot more.

I also think it's too late for patio furniture and maybe furniture. Now is a good time to get sales on lots of stuff, though, thanks to making room for Christmas.
