We really like the Lewitt poster(above) from 2000, made in celebration of the new millennium. It was $25., now it's $2.99.
In addition to the posters, well designed goodies from throughout the shop are on sale. These "Wallpaper by Numbers" prints by Jenny Wilkinson are available for $5.95 (originally $20.)
For more info, see the sale section at the MoMA store.
Speaking of which, we have the Sol Lewitt poster above and it is in a silly frame (plastic, too big) and I'd like to frame it but I can't figure out the right frame for it. Is a white frame our only option?
To nosy neighbor - I've that poster in a standard Ikea frame - 60x100cm. The poster fits perfectly in the mat that came with the frame such that the text is neatly cropped out, leaving only lovely circles. I've hung it landscape instead of portrait. The frame is a natural-finish wood frame, with the wood measuring perhaps 5cm wide by 2 cm deep.
nosy--
I lately like the look of white frames, but I think you could do black silver or even a plexi box frame.
If anyone's interested, I have the billboard-size of the Jim Dine Rancho Woodcut Heart from MoMA for sale. Wide, dramatci black wood ash frame, plexi (due to size).
