Modern + Design + Function: Chicago Furniture Now Exhibition Results

Finally! We had a hard time hearing the results back at the packed Modern + Design + Function exhibition several weeks ago. From 175 entries, a panel of design judges (Morlen Sinoway, Scott Wilson, and Bruce and Stephanie Tharp) selected their top 20, which were then viewed by a grand crowd of over 600 attendees.

We finally got the official results from the fine folks at DWR...including two Best in Show winners and four honorable mentions. Best in Show:

2. Scott Ternovits; Cardier Table

Honorable Mentions:

1. Mark Daniel/Slate Design; Converge Coffee Table

2. Craighton Berman; Pinch Salt Cellar and Pepper Shaker

3. Jason Lewis Furniture; Spindle Back Dining Chair

4. Donna Piacenza/Studio 1a.m.; This Table Will Self Destruct - Dreamgate Headboard

yea!!!!! for Craig Berman. i'm still in support of his Pinch Salt and Pepper Shaker as being the true top winner of the contest. i think they're fantastic. where can i get one?!?!?! congrats to all who participated in the event. it was an incredible event.
