On Sale: Blankets and Throws at Macy's

It's the season for blankets and throws. Our own living room is starting to get a little chilly, and since we sacrificed a couple of old blankets to our dog's crate training, we're in the market for a new throw. Searching the web, we found a few options on sale at Macy's...

It may not look as pretty as others, but do yourself a favor and get this one:

I swear, I want a boyfriend made out of this stuff.

I would like a nice blanket, but I'm mainly posting here because I think that UWSretreat is hilarious! 'Boyfriend made out of this stuff'...genius!

I'm having my entire southern living family for the holidays (in chilly MI) and their one request is "Have plenty of blankets". I bought http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=260752&CategoryID=34424&LinkType=DepthPath on Wednesday. It looks hideous but it is AMAZING. And it doesn't look that hideous unzipped / snapped.

I bought this one for them to use but now that I've tried it out, I think they're going to have to wrest this one out of my warm dead hands.

Jen C,

Why do relatives from warm climates insist on coming to visit us northerners when the weather stinks? My dad comes from FL for a week every Christmas...I live in WI! And the whole time he complains about how cold I keep my house and how "drafty" it is.

I have seen things like the one you bought in the Company Store catalog. I don't really understand it. Do your feet stick out at the bottom or is it like a sleeping bag? Is it really just like a bathrobe? I am afraid if I had it and it restricted my mobility I would spend the next six months curled up in it on the couch.
