cscamp20, I don't think you can expect sale prices to go below 50%. That's getting close to what DWR paid for the merchandise at wholesale. I was actually rather impressed with the discounts. DWR sales are usually in the 10-20% off range.

I hate to do this, but feel compelled to give a heads up to people thinking of ordering from the sale. I ordered a discounted item recently and it arrived damaged in a way that just couldn't have occurred in transit (i.e. all of the packaging was intact but part of the fabric on the item had been cut through with a knife or something sharp). Thinking it was just a mistake, I called customer service at my local store - the people I've dealt with throughout the process have been extremely friendly and helpful, but one of them strongly hinted that DWR offloads some damaged items better suited to an outlet by putting them on substantial discount through the website. Hopefully this is an anomaly, but, as I'm still waiting for the issue to be resolved, I wanted to suggest that anyone ordering call first and talk to someone so that you'll have some back-up if you end up in the same situation.

Unfortunately, a lot of companies do this. It's a horrendous practice. I'm so sorry this happened to you.
