Spotted this in Daily Candy's weekend guide, and we think it sounds like a fab way to join in a Chicago artistic endeavor:

What: Collaborate on a wall painting for Caro d’Offay Gallery’s latest exhibition, The Colorist Chess

Why: Warhol said you’d get fifteen minutes of fame.

When: Friday, Jan. 12, 8 p.m.-midnight.

Where: Caro d’Offay Gallery, 2204 W. North Ave., at Leavitt St. (773-235-7400).

This year, Caro d'Offay Gallery will be doing a sculptural version of colorist chess.

I participated in the painting (above) last year and this year seems even more intriguing. There is an opening this Sat 10/13 where artist Danny Mansmith and other collaborating artists create live sculpture through descriptive text.

It's going to be incredible! Not to be missed!
