Having been involved with the handmade underground (and now limelight) movement for many years, it's exciting to see the hard work of first time film maker and crafter, Faythe Levine be showcased on the big screen. Tonight in Milwaukee and next week in New York, The Handmade Nation documentary that highlights the new wave of craft in America, is finally making it's big debut. If you are in the Milwaukee area, don't miss the premiere of this indie craft documentary tonight, Feb 5th at the Landmark Oriental Theatre (2230 N. Farewell Ave) at 7pm. As a former MKE native and getting the pleasure to assist Faythe on occasion, it is wonderful to see the more of the Midwest get their "represent!" in other than Chicago...No offense Chicago...but it isnt the only great city on the lake :)
