From the Domino Design District site: "The Domino Design District is a weekend long shopping event in Lincoln Park, Chicago - specifically, the beautiful Armitage Avenue shopping area. Shoppers will enjoy exclusive discounts in over 30 stores, gifts with purchase, editor appearances and more."

There are Domino Master Classes at multiple locations on topics from outdoor entertaining to setting the perfect table. We like the sound of the flower arranging class at Jayson Home and Garden at 1pm and plan on attending.

There will also be FREE 30 minute interior designer consultations from Noon to 4 (courtesy of the Merchandise Mart ) at 1154 Lill Studio, Cythia Rowley or Jayson.

If you are up for a treat, there is an Ice Cream Test Drive at the St. Teresa parking lot from 1 to 3- taste scoops from Bobtail, Gerties and Margies Candies and then vote. For a more grownup indulgence sample Kendall Jackson Chardonnay or Sauvingnon Blanc from 4 to 6 at several area shops.

Everything is open to the public and free. The Domino Design District events all occur on Saturday, June 7 - Discounts are available on both the 7th and 8th.
