""Nowhere Else To Go" presents a new body of drawings and paintings by Thomas Rapai. The artist continues his exploration into contemporary urbanity and kitsch; his brushy, colorful Party Store paintings mine modern art-historical reference points. Amy Vogel’s exhibition "U.P." presents an installation of transformed objects, painting, drawings, and fiber work, encapsulating the rural landscape of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula."

Louis H. Sullivan: A System of Architectural Ornament According with a Philosphy of Man's Powers

"The final work of Louis Sullivan, A System of Architectural Ornament, was produced by the impoverished architect in 1922 and 1923 at the request of the Art Institute. Ten pencil drawings by Sullivan showcase his understanding of ornament as the bridge between nature and science as well as the organic and the inorganic."

Fundraiser for this non-commercial alternative art space run by a collective of 3 (Miguel Cortez, Elvia Rodriguez-Ochoa, and Jesus Macarena-Avila). Polvo ha been organizing art exhibits for more than a decade in Chicago, showcasing contemporary art in Pilsen.
