IDSA Summer Pub Crawl
- "Ah...Summer in Chicago. Nothing beats a frosty Goose Island Summertime Ale outside, enjoying conversation and fresh-ish air, with nothing but the weekend in front of you. This year, IDSA invites you on a crawl of Chicago Ave bars (with beer gardens!). You’re responsible for your own libations."

Javanese Shadow Puppets
- "Expect sheer fascination with this performance of "The Settling of the Marta Forest" -- a Javanese shadow puppet (wayang kulit) drama with musical accompaniment -- based on the Indian epics The Mahabarata and The Ramayana. Innovator and popular Javanese wayang performer Purbo Asmoro is joined by a gamelan (an orchestra of mostly bronze percussion instruments) to tell a story by casting shadows from behind a screen."
