The Colorist Chess Collaborative Projects
- "The Colorist Chess is an annual interactive workshop at Caro d’Offay Gallery in Chicago. The projects examine relativity in human communication. The project name, "Colorist" (referencing relativity in the visual form) combined with the word "Chess" (referring to strategy and opposing perspectives), is the playful push/pull of human interaction and the physical manifestation of a shared perspective as it unfolds." This year's sculptural project is open for all to participate and is free.

Five participating Bronzeville galleries share in this ongoing art tour event showcasing African-American art.
The trolley tour is free and departs from Gallery Guichard at 3521 S. King Dr. at 6:15 pm and runs continuously until 9:00 pm

Phillip von Zweck in UBS 12x12 New Artists/New Work

"Philip von Zweck draws upon the rich tradition of mail art to create a conceptual, interactive work. Instead of filling the gallery with objects, for this exhibition von Zweck creates a democratic experience that isn't necessarily expected within an art museum context. While his exhibition Post functions primarily through the postal system, the gallery will also function as a space where people can participate in this project."
