Does the lamp look as pretty in real life as it does in the picture? I was thinking of getting it, but was a little hestitant as I like to see things in person and up close. Thanks!

Both of those lamps appear to be knock-offs of the IQ Light, which I have and which is quite lovely. I can't vouch for the knock-offs, though:

I really like it. I rent, so I was looking for something that was not so much of a price commitment, since I'll probably just leave it behind. (Which is A-OK with my landlord.)
Here's a photo of it in my dining room during the day and here's what it looks like at night.

Oh, and plus, I didn't have to put it together, it came assembled. Thank goodness.

Yes, assembling the light is a bit tricky, but the IQ [see my link above] comes with a scaled-down version for practice. The packaging is beautiful and clever, and you can make different shapes and more than one light fixture from a set of 30 [or use more than one set]. The whole thing breaks down into a small folder which you would be proud and happy to take with you when you leave! I know the price is a bit steep but, for me, it was worth it.
