(re: nelson spindle clock)... at the most recent DWR sample sale in SF, we picked up 2 of these (one for us and one as a gift for my newly-mod-sister-in-law) for $80 each. brand new in boxes, but labelled "not working". i figured a new movement is $10 at the craft store, but low-and-behold, a new battery solved the issue... and we were heroes come xmas time.
