Are the number of zeros in the desk price correct?

I have that McCobb chair in the original fabric - it is an astonishingly comfortable thing, I must say.

that desk is making my everything hurt. i want it. i want it. sigh.

I love upstate - you could totally make something that looks almost identical to this with Ikea bits and some paint.

This top in white these legs ( these drawers or [two of these lacquered high gloss white and attached to the bottom of the desk surface])

For $14,000 I would like something that isn't going to look like crap after a year's worth of use.

You know, if you take care of it -- it won't look like crap after a year's worth of use. Someone's taken care of it for the past 40 years.

I really like the lamp.
