Low Benches

The low bench is a real workhorse. It's one of the simplest and most versatile pieces of furniture. It can be used in an entryway, at a dining table, as a coffee table, or at the foot of a bed. (We've heard this is good feng shui for a bed that faces the door, since it helps to prevent energy from rushing out.)

Here are some of our picks for beautiful low benches...

And then there's the classic we'd be remiss not to mention, the Nelson Platform Bench.

I've been looking for a low bench for my landing strip for months now, and it seems like it's impossible to find a chic, simple bench for less than $400! WHY?!

Talloush, I'm so with you, it seems like such a simple piece of furniture, yet they are all so expensive. I just want a parsons style bench...just three planks of wood...impossible...

Wooden Duck has the LCD bench, very modern and recycled teak, for only $265.

I would love if a post like this included the price of each item. It's nice not to have to click on it to find out. (And then be devastated!)
