Whether out of necessity or style preference, we've long admired a mismatched dining table and chairs. This is a good option if you have no need to switch out a whole set, but just want a new look. Add a pair (or a full set) of new (or vintage!) chairs to your existing table, offering a revived - and possibly more comfortable - look to a tired out one. From Jayson Home & Garden, here are some intriguing dining chairs that could be mixed together or added on their own.

I am getting tired of these mismatched chair postings every week. Mismatched chairs are a great way to ruin the look of an otherwise tastefully decorated room by making it look like a college house or a dumpster-filled thrift store.

medenver, I agree. I prefer to see all the same style at a round table. With a rectangular table I like the tasteful introduction of a contrasting style at the the two ends. I don't like a smattering of styles.

oh, and the $700 per chair price tag does not piss you off? i do not think that during these or more financially stable times it is wise to spend $700 on ONE chair
