Often times we aren't looking for our furniture to bring in the bright pops of color we've been talking all month about, but would rather leave that to our accessories, windows and floors. One of our new favorite pieces is this slatted rocker from West Elm and while it isn't screaming for attention it's oh so pretty. Details after the jump...
We admittedly have a crush on this low sitting rocker's clean lines and slight curves near the corners. It rings in at $349, but since it's a new item before the holidays, there's a good chance we'll see a price drop later on down the road. It's dimensions are 22”w x 27”d x 29”h and has all wooden joinery. No nails or screws to come loose on this saucy little seat. Now if only we had room for it...

I like how rocking chairs are getting more modern.

This looks nice -
- but I'd prefer sitting in the old fashioned rockers - the kind w/ wide armrests where you can hold a tall glass of iced-tea and a high back with support all the way down to the seat where you could tuck a pillow under your sore back.

Yeah, this is nice-looking, but it also appears to be rather diminutive. It looks like only children or smaller adults would find this chair to be comfortable.

this is one beautiful rocker--does look rather small in scale rather than just low sitting as slowdown says above but i'd definitely consider purchasing it after taking a look at it. price point is an advantage too.

we spied a nice barcelona-like bench/daybed at ikea... not in the catalog, though.

Forget the rocker, I want that stump! Anyone got a line on good stumps in the Bay Area? I'm stumped. ha. ha.
@redneckmodern - what was the price on that daybed?
