Aha -- so long-derided vinyl is now "a cow-friendly, flesh-free leather alternative."

Blu Dot comes across as being a more economical alternative to the high end, yet I find that their products are quite expensive for what they are. Their "Chicago" shelving is no different in quality than Ikea, other than a nicer veneer.
I would love the Buttercup chair if it was about $500.

i live in minneapolis and the walker art center has a bunch of buttercup chairs in the seating area near the coffee counter. i have long coveted the buttercup rocking chair...it's almost enough to make me want to have a baby just for an excuse to own a rocking chair that cool.
almost.
