Shelving Inspiration
Maison Magazine

The do-it-all shelving in this bedroom, well, it does it all. It acts as a deep frame in some areas, a bookshelf in others, and an attractive television stand. We're partial to the way it blends the tv in with the rest of the objects on the shelf..

Spotted in Maison Magazine, this likely custom design has great attention to detail: The portion of shelf that's centered over the vanity actually frames a mirror. When the shelf wraps the corner, there's a deeper cubby for yet more storage and shallower ledge-type shelves above. The variety in this shelving makes it at once whimsical and functional.

I like it. Attractive, functional, unique. And I especially like how it wraps around the corner. I'm bookmarking this.

We've just finished doing a wall similar to this but using multi use white cubes. I don't know if you can get them in the states (maybe from the home depot) but in NZ you can get them from Bunnings warehouse for around $11NZD the more you pay the more you get, for instance we bought some with drawers the perfect size for CDs in paper slips, they're about twice the price but you only need a few to make it look interesting. We like them so much we've even used them for temporary shelving in our Kitchen!
